Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA)had released the bid papers last week for the recruitment of an architectural company who would be carrying out the construction of its upcoming office in Greater Noida Sector 18 near the Yamuna Expressway region. The finalization of a suitable agency is scheduled to be taking place before the end of July.

Proposed to be advanced across 5 acres of land, the YEIDA office will follow the green norms that would incorporate aspects like LED lighting, rainwater harvesting, solar energy, and others. This forthcoming office has received substantial attraction since its initiation due to the upcoming Jewar airport and the ongoing allocation of plots for the residential, commercial, and industrial development in Sector 18, 19, 20, 22A, 22C, and 22D.

Shailendra Bhatia, ACEO of YEIDA, confirmed the tender release for the hiring of an architectural entity. Further, he informed that the finalization process, which will also depend on whether that company will pass the criteria framed under the green norms, will be completed within a month so that the construction can initiate in this year itself.

While YEIDA has been allocating plots across different sectors for the residential and commercial developments, a 25 acre land in sector 18 has been assigned to be advanced as an entertainment hub that would incorporate malls, restaurants, retail shops, open-air theater, multi-level parking, and lots more.

Following a stable allocation of plots and the newly found investors’ interest due to the proposed Jewar airport, YEIDA has officially named the urban areas that come under it (24,739 hectares, according to the master plan 2031) as the Yeida city of which the official gazette document is awaited from the Uttar Pradesh government.

The requirement for an exclusively customized office was at its all-time high in recent times considering the increase in workload because of the Jewar airport. The upcoming office, once operational, will diminish the times spent on travelling for its employees as well as ease the required paperwork.

Spread over an area of 2688 sq. km across six districts of Uttar Pradesh, YEIDA has a prominent presence in the neighboring cities like Greater Noida, Dadri, Noida, khurja, Mathura, Agra, and Faridabad. The proposed airport in Jewar is located at a distance of 28.4 km from Yamuna Expressway and just 7 km away from sector 18 where the newly proposed office of YEIDA would be built as the new center point of the city.
