How to Apply for the Allotment of Flats Online Under the DDA Housing Scheme 2019 in Delhi?

The Delhi Development Authority has initiated the sale of about 18000 apartments in the locality of Vasant Kunj and Narela to give the people around an opportunity to own a newly constructed flat in Delhi under the DDA Housing Scheme 2019. The procedure which started on Monday is expected to go on till the 10th of May.

Vasant Kunj’s block F consists of the most expensive apartments under the latest housing scheme where a 3BHK flat of 115 sq metre area is going to cost more than Rs 1.7 crore. The 29.77 sq metre flat located in Narela has been framed as the least expensive one under the EWS category that is going to cost Rs 10.42 lakh.

How to apply-

The DDA is acknowledging the request for assigning the apartments only via the online mode. A detailed layout of instructions, a set plan of apartments and their prices have been presented by the authority in its brochure which can be accessed through the DDA website.

A certain refundable amount is needed to be paid during the process of applying for allocation which has been outlined as Rs 25000 for EWS, 1 lakh for LIG, and 2 lakh for MIG & HIG apartments.

Anyone can visit the DDA website and proceed to the registration process for purchasing the flat as per their desire and eligibility by providing their details.

Application forms are available online on the website of thirteen enlisted banks comprising of HDFC, ICICI, IDBI, SBI, Kotak Mahindra, Yes bank, etc.

Eligibility guideline-

To apply for the allocation of DDA apartments under the EWS section, the individual’s annual income should not exceed 3 lakh,  while there is no any income criteria for the LIG, MIG, and HIG unless one wants to take the benefits of credit linked subsidy under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna.

In the case of credit linked subsidy, the recipient should not be already having their own home in any territory of Delhi. Both the wife and husband are authorized to request for flats allotment separately by the DDA, although only one of them would be able to proceed further if they both emerge successful in the allocation of flats.
