Noida Jewar Airport to be 2.5 Times Bigger than IGI

The upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar is to be the largest airport in the country. It will be 4 times bigger than Mumbai Airport and 2.5 times bigger than Delhi Airport. In a program held at Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra in sector 6 central minister, Dr. Mahesh Sharma who was attending this program provided this information.

Discussing the infrastructure projects in Noida he stated that the work of elevated Road from Mahamaya flyover to sector 14a chilla regulator will soon start. The Noida Pradhikaran will start the work once they get the NOC. Saying that these infrastructure projects will provide Noida with a new identity he told that 25 acres of land have been allocated construction of Noida habitat Centre at sector 94.

CEO of Yamuna authority Dr Arunveer Singh ensured that passengers traveling within the country or abroad will have no tension in regard parking. There will be no problem of parking Jewar airport, in the first phase 48491 square meter of land has been reserved for parking. This is space of parking will be able to accommodate 50000 cars at the same time. 39584 square meter of land is reserved for the parking in the second phase of construction. In any event where even this arrangement proves insufficient area of like basement can be converted to parking.
